How many updates do you have?
To start with, select all updates that have 'Windows8.1-*******-x64' in the filename.
I don't use WHDownloader, and I usually only integrate 'Security & Important' updates into the image.  If I have time tomorrow, I can list all the updates by filename that I integrate into my image; you can compare this list with your list.

If you've already linked your online account with your login then I think you can 'sign out' and then choose to use a local account.  (Try searching the Internet Arrow I just did that for you and found this link)

I don't know the answer to that question, but I know that if I create an Unattended xml (in Winreducer) to create a new user, I don't get asked to create a Micosoft account, and I don't use the Metro (tiles) interface, which I think this is linked to.

Try this:
1. In Winreducer. remove the Metro Apps you don't want - possibly all of them
2. Create a new user in the Unattended section of Winreducer
3. Install Windows and then if it still asks you to create a Microsoft account, choose 'use an existing account'

When removing a tick "to protect office" wordpad does not work.
also after the latest updates windows 8.1 -Winreducer does not delete the folder "C: Program files\WindowsApps Crying or Very sad Also, do not remove the labels removed components
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories...
All this after the latest updates windows 8.1.....The problem with file associations

Wordpad is not linked to MS Office, so you need to keep Wordpad in
Removal - Accessories (..)   section

If you think this is a bug, then report it in the Bug section of the forum

Please could you show us your WinReducer81.wccf file, usually found in the folder where you are loading the Windows source files from,  (example  D:\Win81x64\WinReducer81.wccf)

Paste that into the forum here, or link to it if you can.

So, too, does not work.I checked, the component is still available - but does not open!If you remove the check mark (to protect the office) -wordpad is not working..And if you leave the checkboxes (to protect the office - then install.wim large) but then the office works

Hello,

"Protect MS Office" will automatically protect "Optimizations - EXPERT - WinSxS Folder Cleanup" to keep UI Ribbon software (Paint, Wordpad, MS Office, ...) to work properly ! It's a known bug (ToDo list) mentioned in the changelog ... I will work on it as soon as I could !

Could you please, as brittech requested, show us your wccf (don't forget to remove your Windows serial number) ?

sure your wim-file turns out to be big. Because removing and not removing the "Optimizations - EXPERT - WinSxS Folder Cleanup" makes a BIG difference. but if you remove it you get Problems with paint, WordPad etc

You could try to search on internet or got to folder : "Windows\Fonts" in an installed system to see which one are Asian fonts !
