I don't understand. Final size is practically same as ISO :F

I can not believe it!
I configured a new windows, without the option "EXPERT - WinSXS Folder Cleanup (boot.wim)
ISO size over 4GB?!
Instaled on PC. everiting OK!
After that I checked, for example, Modern UI Apps in Program Files, if was deleted. Surprised ... they were all there?! Likewise, and other things that i have removed.

Could you please do this simple test to see if it's a bug :

- Open EX-100 and close it immediately to clean the system
- Re-open EX-100
- mount a clean ISO (look at the edition list, and choose Home)
- Once mounted, use only the option "Optimizations - ISO - Windows - Delete Unneeded Editions"
- Create an ISO
- Once finished (when EX-100 is automatically closed), then check the sizes difference between the clean iso and the new iso (with only the HOME edition in it)

Please tell me the result. Thanks.

PS : eventually you could try to modify this new iso (with only the HOME edition in it)

Results:
Oryginal ISO: 4,06GB, Latest WinReducer ISO: 4,06GB.

Edit:
Sorry. I got ISO with update, so results is the same.

I doing so, always + Restart PC
I made a Windows 10 Home Build 14393.351 x64-WinReducer and I work with it. I know how , as you said once in form.

deVilbaT, please reopen the new iso and watch in the EX-100 "OPEN" window to see how many editions are in the new iso. Thanks.

I have the exact same result ... after integrating the windows 10 cumulative updates ... there is no error here.

EDIT : if you mean after reducing your iso using your wccf, so this is not the correct result

Before I had Windows under 3Gb.

@winterstorm2050. Hmm. My oryginal ISO got only HOME edition so it is good here after checking Optimizations - ISO - Windows - Delete Unneeded Editions

Mayby its a bug in Compression Mode of ISO. Recovery works very nice but there is small difference between Fast and Maximum.

Yes ! Only Home...

Now I made a Windows, with krx_win10.wccf, and ISO is 4.97GB

thats really odd, my iso was 1.49GB

i used Win10_1607_N_German_x64.iso and selected Professional (only Home and Professional were available)

Well I find this bug for me. Features - there is something wrong.
For these:
 - AD LDS Services
 - Data Center Bridging (DCB)
 - Printing - LPR Port Monitor
 - Printing - LPD Print Service
 - Printing - Fax and Scan Services
ISO and WIM was reduced so I think this is OK.
Rest features incresing ISO and WIM file size. Still all is not checked.

And one more: Net Framework 4.6 Network Advanced Services need very match time to remove and ISO/WIM + ~400MB

If you have some time, could you please test your wccf with this previous version : "WinReducer EX-100 - v0.9.8.0" (link available in the bottom of the EX-100 download website page). And tell me if that change something. Thanks.

Result with version 0.9.8.0 is 3,91GB. So, a little smaller.
Best result I got with latest version and without all features: 2,98GB.
Like I said before there is a bug in features. Only a couple of them decresing final size.

Krx,
usinf your .wccf and adding the "protect VMware" just add 1785052 - 1784928 = 124 Kb
and you get a working version with Edge

I'm on it as we speak, I'm working on all Features, solving bugs and improving removing speed (by around 85% for many of them) !

For information: Today checked also: 14393.0.N.x64.english.iso and .351 - Home Edition (Pro removed previously). Bugs also there.

winterstorm2050 - I keep my fingers crossed for the next WinReducer. Good job anyway.

with...
         - Windows 10 Home Build 14393.0
    Updated to...
         - Windows 10 Home Build 14393.447 x64 + NetFramework35 - ISO 3,76GB.      


With my preset file ISO is 1.90.

These are few example of possible optimizations to reduce the iso final size. But if you send me your wccf I will have a look at it

I have same problem in fact i never notice size i don't care. But today i see winreducer create bigger ISO. I have my new ISO from January and i mod with my wccf config. I tried that and other even on boot.wim remove final size is always bigger than original.
One thing i saw on stable release if i use  EXPERT - WinSXS Folder Cleanup (boot.wim)"   and proceed it will give me an unexcepeted error.

Thanks for great work. Finally this option: "Tweaks - Disable User Account Control (UAC)"  its working well

About the WinSxS folder cleanup for boot.wim, please tell me which Windows 10 version are you using ?

I have been using Windows 10 v1511 with last updates

I already activate all that 3 options.

Which running operating system (winreduced ?) are you using to launch EX-100 ?
Which version of EX-100 are you using ?
Which Windows 10 edition are you using ?

I have used inside Windows 10 Home 64 bits edition with last version of EX-100. I always work on Home for me it's enough.
