Hey guys,

I would like to share with you the progress on EX-100 by releasing during the next 2 weeks, many alpha builds !

So, please test all builds according to instructions provided in the post version (or using the file "_ReadFirst.txt" provided in the zip package"). Thank you !

BUG found, while I removed accessories--windows onecore of Win10-10547, my windows freezed, even Ctrl Alt+Del doesn't work, I can move my mouse, but my mouse can not click anything.

After I restart my windows, I try to remove only accessories--windows onecore, and my windows freezed again.

this cpu got 4 cores (8 threads) right ?

so maybe you cant use the insane Profile.
winter should be able to answer this better if he meant 8 cores or 8 threads

yes seems like it. just load the wccf file but dont add anything more (not sure if it is ok to deselect something)

winter should be able to answer this better if he meant 8 cores or 8 threads

KrX is right, "Insane" removing profile is still experimental, so it's not totally optimized, this is why it hangs on your system. Just use the "Highest" removing profile until I will update the "Insane" profile. And take care because this alpha is recommended to be used with Windows 10 TH1 builds, and you are using a TH2 build, don't worry this should work either, and I'm not against a report about that Smile

Exactly, the alpha test will be done step by step to be sure to solve the most troubles as possible, using your reports. So, please, use the WCCF presets file provided in the zip package, each time a new alpha is released. This is mostly to be sure, that I'm working on the same WinReducer Components as you Wink

And please, do not select new components to remove once the wccf is loaded, but I encourage you to deselect them to test different combination possibilities.

TEST 1

removing speed: insane
one time "SetACL has stopped working" popped out, but everything ended well. New iso works - tested on VirtualBox

TEST 2

removing speed: Highest
no bugs

TEST 3 (update to test 1)

insane profile again but this time without "SetACL has stopped working" Smile

Windows 10 Home 10240x64 with all updates plus Net Framework 3.5 enabled!

with PC.
Intel Core i5 2500K 3.30GHz box
KingMax 2x4GB DDR3 1333MHz
SSD Seagate 600, 120GB, SATA 3 (Work folder)

removing speed: High

Works well...

-Windows Sidebar
-Wordpad
-Write
Deselect some Fonts, Keyboards (1),

removing speed: Highest

Works OK! (VirtualBox) Smile

Thank you for your excellent feedbacks !

A new build (and a new wccf) will be available today with an updated Insane removing profile to avoid troubles as mentioned by ijence, new tweaks (for cortana), new bugs solved especially with Fonts !

This new build will be v0.4.5.3 !

did another test just now was able to use the wccf file and did my own stuff with it ect themes images-dlls and my programs i like so much...and it went smooth use vmware to test.....lookin good here m8s cheers

Test with v0.4.5.3 and the provided WCCF presets file,
removing speed: Insane.
It is ok but the speed is... a little bit higher.
The advantage is that it uses less CPU and Memory

I would like to test the alpha builds too, but there is again an old error, which does not let me download and install the software packages.

Hi,
Is it normal with the test-0.4.5.3 the I cannot open a .ini.
If if try to use "open with"
I get an error message saying no program associated with this type of file

Seems great, as the boot.wim is also cleaned at the same time, so if you want to have a higher speed you may need to disable the "clean boot.wim".
Could you please develop a little bit more your thought about the insane speed.
