Yes, it's much better starting with a fresh ISO until WinReducer is in alpha stage ... On my computer, all the entire removing process has been done in less than 20 minutes (without ISO creation)

i tried the new build ( .10) and it's not good! i removed the same set of components as always but the final iso is around 2.9gb! while with the same settings, using the oldest build i can slim down to 2.2/2.3gb!

there's something wrong in this build!

Hi guys,

Try to delete the "config.xml" file in the "APPS" folder, restart WinReducer and do not change the mount folder then tell me how it works .... Thanks ..

using your Extreme preset
the size of the iso is 2.8g is it normal

EDIT : It happens if you don't choose the 1st edition in the list on the Mount screen ... could you please confirm that, thanks ...

again i am fail to reduce with this version too. i have use fresh ISO and remove most of all but still its reduce upto 2.03 gb (ISO 2.45 gb original size enterprise ) ... when 39.1 reduce upto 1.23 gb .... as u advice i have not change mouth path and deleted old config file too .....Mad

after u remove to pack 3rd party software 2 problem i found
1. if i paste 3rd party software then run winreducer it just so updating screen .....(Internet all ready connected)
2. if i run winreducer and then paste 3rd party software ... then click on box its so .net error ....

You need to enter to Options page and check for every software (if you already have them, just check all) so every software lines will become green, if they are red, there is a problem ...

No problem for me,my iso with extrem prest is 1170 mb(32bit)..but ad or remove components in control panel does not work,and i miss a lot of shortcuts in control panel.Maybe i removed to much,i will try once more.

So, tomorrow, I will released a new build v0.39.4.99.12 with 36 new components to remove, 6 components improvements !!!

It will be released at 12h00 (forum lunch time) ... Wink

After this build, we could start talking about the release of v0.40, that will be based on the v0.39.4.99.12. And there will be another builds before the public release but only for bugs fix ..

With v0.40, there will be some changes on the forum (new things will appear, another will disappear), so I'll keep you in touch when the moment will come.

I really want to thank you all, for your excellent work and precious help !
