New Windows 10 Preview Update released. Updated to build 9860.

You can get it via PC Settings > Update and recovery > Preview builds

No official ISO images will be released...

P.S You need to setup your virtual machine to 2GB Ram usage or otherwise you will get an error at the installation!

P.P.S I have made an ISO for an untouched Windows 10 Preview x64 Build 9860 (US-English) , click on the name to download!

the uptdate I was quick to download (50000 DSL), about 10 min

the esd, I have now converted into a wim

currently running the winreducer

let's see what comes out

Download is no problem, I have 100 mbits speed. But when Windows installs the update, it takes too long to install!

WinReducerWimConverter only works with Windows 8.1 with Update 1

under Windows 8.1 with Update 1, the WinReducerWimConverter not working for me - Conversion stops with error

esd to wim -> DISM /Export-Image /SourceImageFile:c:\Install.esd /SourceIndex:4 /DestinationImageFile:c:\install.wim /Compress:none -> install.wim - 6,68 GB (7.177.841.616 bytes)

Winterstorm needs to approve though...

I don't see any problems with that. Everyone can download legally Preview builds but anyways it's his decision...

No, because I need to first finish the Windows 10 Preview Remove List and then test it myself via manual removal...

I also did, only that: Windows 10 Technical Preview for Enterprise Build 6.4.9860 (x64) (Eng), 3,2Gb.
Who needs, give a link to the PM.
Description:
- On the basis of 9860.0.141008-2044.fbl_release_cliententerprise_vol_x64fre_en-us.esd.
- Installed the update on October 22, 2014.
- Do not remove or turned off!

Yes, this is only the case if you previously removed all features or if you use faulty DISM version ...

Could you please tell me which windows 10 you have and on which system you are trying to use it ?

Winter, by faulty DISM version, do you mean if I used a slim down version of windows to run the program it will act like that? I quickly install a vm full version windows under 5 minutes then run Winreducer in it and it works.. so which part can't be removed if I want a slimdown host OS to run WinReducer properly?

No, there is no bug like this in my untouched ISO. It works normal, with Recent Searches, Trending Now and Pictures!
I have not installed any Framework, maybe the Framework you have installed did this bug...

I think that your method (using a VM full version machine) is the best method, until Windows 10 will reach RTM builds ... Because Microsoft in all available coming Windows 10 builds will change several things, so each time there will be potential severe bugs after using WinReducer 10.0 ! This is normal because Windows 10 and WinReducer 10.0 are both a work in progress ... I will try to resolve all bugs as soon as I can ... Smile

==> I've tried the 9860 build, provided by torrentus, and Windows can't be installed after using my "EXTREME" preset ... so I need to figure this out ! Wink
