That's correct ... it was done like this when Cortana ans search was merged inside one component (removing one broke the other) , especially for taskbar search. But as MS separated Cortana and Search, and this is for the best obviously, there is no reason to keep this association like this.

So, you may consider your request as implemented in v2.3.6.1 [VIP] and v2.3.7.0 {ALL].

Explorer Search is working steadily...............
Taskbar search is also working if i use cmd then put winver there 

Hi @winterstorm2020, search is working fine but apps won't launch from there.. i.e. I type "winver" and press enter, usually it launches winver, or "control panel" and press enter and it launches the control panel, but now it's like it doesn't really find the link to launch. I see the result from the search but cannot launch it..
