yes i did need and keep "Accessories" - "Windows Recovery Environment" for Recovery Option or Disk
also i did need to reducing install.wim size so i'd delete  "winre.wim" manually...

fyi after tested EX-100 v1.9.7.0 and v1.9.8.0, i've an issues with

• Auslogics Disk Defrag Professional v4.8.2.0- System Error
  "The code execution cannot proceed because odbc32.dll was not found."


• MiPony v2.5.4 could not be started because .NET Framework disabled.
 
  "Solved in EX-100 v1.9.8.0: FiX Error with Net 3.5 integration (regression from v1.9.7.0)

and here's my tested preset:
» EX-100.v1.9.8.0 (12.2 KiB): WinReducerEX100_2017.12.21-14.32.1.wccf.7z
» EX-100.v1.9.7.0 (12.1 KiB): WinReducerEX100_2017.12.18-14.28.29.wccf.7z

For "odbc32.dll" : keep "Accessories - Open DataBase Connectivity (ODBC)"

For Net Framework : maybe you must keep "Optimizations - EXPERT - Net Framework Light Cleanup"

With the latest release I got several problems:
- I´m not able to use Windows 7.... unsupported software will be detected while loading an original image
- Loading an Windows 10 ISO does work properly
- I´m using VMware 9.0 and not able to install an ISO created by WRex100.... Windows 10 hungs.... virtual box sounds "guru meditation" and vmware sounds see screenshot:

Using a native original ISO works fine....

What I´m doing wrong?

Using Virtual Box latest relase 5.2.10 and VMware 9.0 and WDex100 1.9.15

Using a virtual machine requires some specific components in EX-Series software :

- have you activated (= "ON" status") for "Presets - Protect Virtualbox" an/or "Presets - Protect VMwrae Player and Workstation" ?
- have you removed "Drivers - Processor - AMD" and/or "Drivers - Processor - Intel" ?

As Jpm mentioned, maybe your virtual machine software needs to be updated.
