EX-100 - v3.1.0.0 [ALL]

Oh yay, for portability - now I can keep testing Win10 on my main (Win 8.1) machine. That helps a lot.

I haven't been able to get any reduced Win10 to work yet, but I don't want to open a bugs thread just yet, because I have no clue what specifically the problem is. When installing any reduced Win10, the installation goes smoothly until it gets to the "just a moment" message - after that, it keeps continously restarting and showing the same message. I have not yet been able to get to the desktop. Installing from the original, untouched ISO works. This happens no matter what I remove - I tried removing just a few things, with the same result.

So does anybody know what issues in general can cause a restart loop at that stage?

I'll try with the latest release (v0.4.0.0) and see if it still happens.

but since Version 0.4 it seems to work for me

i just changed Version 0.3 to 0.4 and also changed my key from an genetic to my own personal one and removing 1 component or everything i want and Windows 10 installs just fine

Nope, still getting the same error.

I used Version 0.4, and also did not activate any unattended options. (Including a key.)

Same problem, except that it now keeps asking me to enter a key, before showing "just a moment" and rebooting, and asking me enter the key again. (I'm entering a generic key. I am trying to install it on a different machine, which has a license, and not on the machine I am experimenting with winreducer.)

Anybody else facing this issue? Has it happened before, and if so, what was causing it?

it seems that different Editions Need to Keep different files so that the start menu will work. so if you use a different Edition than me (pro N) also other components will break your start menu

To clarify, is that thread only about the start menu on the desktop? I cannot finish installing Windows at all.

ah yes i made a mistake xD

but i was getting the same Problem before and now its gone. i will try some other iso´s and maybe i can get that Problem again

Hey guys, I'm doing my best to propose today a new build ... and I could tell that this build will still be an alpha build with some bugs unsolved, but start menu should be ok.

For the next build, I will update the development branch to v0.5.x.x (beta) .... because I've started the deployment of the new removing engine v3.00 in EX-100, and it will take me some time testing it.

So you will see, during next week, many new "Closed Beta" builds available to help me in this task ... ... new information soon !

I have a good news, I'm hardly working on the new EX-100 build, and especially integrating the new removing engine, which will be by the way the v3.02 ...

So, about it, my first tests revealed that I have a removing speed improvement by around 500% (maybe more) for all computer, because I've worked on improving the removing speed not only for fast computers (which will have a new "INSANE" removing profile : I've removed all WinReducer components and created the according ISO in less the 20 minutes !) but also for the slower computers, and the result should be also interesting ...

I'm also working on all components cleanup (to reduce installation sizes), and solving bugs ... so this is a huge work, but it will be real in few days with an alpha build to test during next week, so please stay tune, there will be interesting things which are coming with a new software and EX-Series software updates ...

EDIT : of course the new removing engine will be deployed for all other EX-Series software ...

500 % thats really insane xD

haha in the feature it maybe will be finished right before clicking the appy button xD

Yes, the insane profile will be a really insane speed ... ... there will be also many interesting cleanup improvements, new components, bugs solved, so a bug update ...

Sounds like the insane profile could be multithreaded. My hexcore CPU will be pleased

Just tested the newest Alpha with build 10240.. doesn't seem to remove any Modern Metro Apps I selected ... Does that have anything to do with the "Protect Modern App" Preset enabled? Does "Protect Modern App" only protect the essential files to run Metro apps or protect all the modern apps from being deleted?

About the new Removing Engine v3.02, I would like to precise that if you have a slower computer you will hope the better speed improvements (200% to 500% : estimated gain), even with "Default" profile.
And for faster computers, the speed gain should be around 50% with "Highest" profile and even more with "Insane" profile ...

There are some troubles with "EX-100 - v0.4.3.0", I'm fixing them and this will be available in v0.5.0.0 ...

Hello dudes.

I found one little bug: 
When i delete some modern apps (from Remove - Modern UI Apps) i think they've should appear as blank space (invisible) on Start Menu and not some shortcut to Store. Because when i click on any of them i just go directly to Windows Store.




This version is actually very good just need to add/change a little things. And maybe instead of most of tweaks are in one location aKa Tweaks tab maybe disperse some of them. Because in my opinion these are tweaks most used for an normal average user. 
Yes! One more thing there is still missing some options on Winreducer when user can customizing settings after installation on 1st boot.
