EX-100 - v3.1.0.0 [ALL]

"EX-100 v0.9.0.0" is an important build for the future :
- Add x86 and x64 builds (both builds support Windows 10 ISO x86 and x64)
- All bugs and improvements will be addressed before the RS1 build released (02 August 2016) with the EX-100 Final build

the compression mode "recovery" is not working
the install.wim is only 1k
last time I tested it was with 0.7.0.0

I'm testing the "Recovery" mode, and I will let you know

About the "Maximum" mode, this is the default mode for all "install.wim" and "boot.wim", so if you select no compression mode for your ISO, you will always have the "Maximum" mode activated. I added this option in order to switch between all compression modes, at the same time you are applying your settings

I will test the compression mode again

I will never understad why compression=recovery  did not work with 0.9.0.0 but it works now with 0.9.1.0

Yes, there will be many more builds during the entire month, because it will be exclusively dedicated to EX-100

This is how I will organize the August 2016 EX-100 builds release :
- during the 1st 15 days, I will work on all big troubles (like windows defender or windows firewall and others, start working on all "Features" components), and I will add new components
- during the rest of the month, I will finish working on all "Features" and "Services components, then correct other bugs (various components), and finally add more components
- so, the Final build will be available really soon

So a huge list of changes and updates will be available in the end of the month

And all EX-100 updated builds will be publicly released on the website (I think I will be able to release from 3 to 5 builds per week)

I see some change when displaying Framework 3.5 update that good but it seems that the KB numbers during Update are no more displayed
I like they are displayed a good thing that they can appear in the log for Windows 10 only as they are just few of them

In fact th "regression" come frome the fcat that I use the file downloadedn from Microsoft Catalog that contain the SHA1.
I found a log time ago that I can improve the display with some coment in the name ended with a blank before the SHA1

For example
Windows10.0-kb3176495-x64_a344b21f039bfc4c4c145af471da86005fa4288f.msu
changed in
"Windows10.0-kb3176495-x64_Cumulative August 9 _a344b21f039bfc4c4c145af471da86005fa4288f.msu"
It was displaying "kb3176495-x64_Cumulative August 9 "
now Nothing is displayed even the %

Perhaps the extraction of the KB number can reintroduce this side effect

I've included a fix in the v0.9.5.0 (available today) to replace all too long names by "KB??????" in order to get the updates individual integration progress percentage, but I will update again this to get only the name of the update for a proper support in the v0.9.6.0 ... thank you for the report

This is normal, if you remove "Immersive CPL" because as it progressively replaces the "old CPL" style, so there are many links which are broken. I removed as much as possible (Right Click Desktop ->  Context Menu incomplete, for example). I will update again this component in the future.

I wait the next 0.9.6.0 the only change is for the Net 3.5 which get KB?????. Perhaps a special case fpr Net 3.5 as the name of the Basic  installation file is microsoft-windows-netfx3-ondemand-package.cab

I don't know the name of the tool Hen Ry uses, but I can tell you, that MeinPlatz can do this job for you.
You can scan a complete drive and the tool will list you the used space as shown in the screenshots from Hen Ry.
