[ANSWERED] the minimal resolution to use Modern UI

Hello, I have Netbook HP mini 210-2040ef of which the maximum resolution is of 1024x600.

With Windows 8.1, the minimal resolution to use Modern UI is of 1024x768.

There exists a tip: regedit/Display1_DownScalingSupported /remplacer value 0 by 1/rebooter the computer.

Two new values are available for the resolution of the screen 1024×768 or 1152×864, but the result visually is not comfortable on a screen of 10.1 inches.

On an old French review “Micro Hebdo”, I read that a Touchpad ASUS VIVOTABSMART uses a resolution of 1024x600 without problem to use Modern UI.

Do you have a solution to force Windows 8.1 to open modern UI with a resolution of 1024x600?

you would have a file .wccf which could be used to me as a basis of work for a Windows 7 light.
The version Light that I had carried out with Winreducer Windows 8.1 on my Laptop old man is not appropriate me.
The native resolution of the screen is of 1024x600, modern UI refuses to open and if I make a upscaling with 1152x864, the image is lengthened and absolutely not Net of the whole, in short that tires my sight and it is ugly.

I tried to find a solution but unfortunately the result is not good, you are right ... and what, I don't understand, is why Microsoft don't want to support this ? This should be a user choice !

Maybe in the future, a solution will be found, I'm just hoping that Microsoft will the first on this ...

Give this a try, but backup your registry before you make any changes.
