WinReducer 8 - v0.37 (alpha) - 2013.01.27Mon 31 Dec 2012 - 11:42

REQUIREMENTS :
- Windows 8 (x32 or x64)
- All languages supported
- A genuine Windows 8 (x32 or x64) ISO
- Works with Windows 8, Windows 8 Professional and Windows 8 Enterprise
- All external software are present in the zip package, no need to download them but feel free to have a look on the "Read Me.pdf"

INSTRUCTIONS :
- Not working with Windows 7 or any previous version like Windows XP
- Not working if you're using spaces in the path folder
- Follow instructions on screen : Button "Open", Button "Mount", wait, choose components, button "Apply", wait, then Button "Save" in Wim or in an ISO
- More important instructions are in the "Read Me.pdf" file provided in the zip package

- Themes – Lockscreen – Pictures

No problem with 0.36, I'm ready for the new release. Thanks for the Power Scheme and the 200MB great work.
Any idea regarding my keyboard issue cf THIS POST ?

This release will only be available for members. The next public release will be the v0.40...

Hi, thanks for the great work!
If it is possible, could you extend WinReducer compatibility to win 7, because i would reduce windows 8 before installing it, otherwise it is required to install it twice...

Hey winterstorm, glad to hear that. I appreciate de work you're putting into this project and hope it reaches version 1.0 soon.
Is the changelog, for this upcomming version, the one in the first post or the recent shorter one ?

Hey winter, nice work.
Did you fix the problem of the "Windows Features" not working when you select "windows defender"? I do not see it in the changelog. Or is the the preset "Protect windows features"?
Also, any improvement regarding .NET 3.5 integration? You mentioned it to be in 0.37.

OK, guys, as I will upload the package in a few minutes, so just last informations :

Take care of this version, as it's not a public release so i consider as an unstable build. So it may contains bugs that are really annoying. I've didn't detect any bugs of this kind but use it with many precautions (use Virtualbox or VMware, do not use it for production...).

My main advice is to use a new fresh ISO, I mean a non customized one otherwise some parts of the process won't work...

Hi Winter.
How does it intergrate .NET 3.5. Does it extract the full install file or do we need to extract it manually ourselves?

Removing IE and MP just made my day :-)

Tried to actually install it on a netbook, got 3 major bugs. First of, Productkey, which I managed to solve it with PID.txt.
Second, I had another Windows 8 installed, so when it booted the first time, it prompted me to select which OS I want, but the screen was empty, also none of the options from Change defaults worked.
Third, got it to boot from an SDcard bootloader, and after loading Setting devices screen, got an error not beeing able to read the Unnatend file, ooBe something, and rebooted. So, no go for now.

No it' not resolved yet but windows search will be removed (not completely finished) if you choose this component
