Hi Winterstorm,

there is a reg key to disable the searchbar in the taskbar:

Code:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Search]
"SearchboxTaskbarMode"=dword:00000000


Can you please add it to WinReducer?

The tweak is already available using this component : "Tweaks - Taskbar - Disable Search Icon" Wink

Hi Winterstorm,

unfortunately this tweak is not working. After a fresh installation the value of the key is set to 2 instead of 0. So I guess you need to add this key to after the installation.
