[SOLVED] [EX-100 - v3.5.1.0] [Windows 10 Pro 64bit 22H2] Windows Update broken -> Rollback

BitLocker Drive Encryption Service and Volume Shadow Copy Service + Windows Defender Service

are breaking some Windows Update.

Installing -> restarting -> it gets to 30% than restarts and than does a rollback

i will do more tests

There is still something breaks it, another component breaks i.e. the Defender Updates cant be installed   EDIT: Found it -> Windows Defender Service

EDIT: this solves this download error which pops up while installing

i edited the Volume Shadow Copy Service post since ther were some reg keys missing.

with this a basic iso can be reduced, and a feature update can be installed, and after that normal updates work till this date.

what i will check next is if when i integrate the feature update and the all the recent updates into the iso --> reduce it if after that new updates will still work.

since it could be that in my tests so far the feature update added some files or registry keys back which i removed with winreducer that thats why the updates so far are working

so i made some test with an iso where the feature update is integrated together with all updates will 04.08.23 (12 days old iso)

the above BitLocker Drive Encryption Service and Windows Defender Service files and registry entries need to be kept as they are.

for Volume Shadow Copy Service something more is breaking windows update, will do some more tests soon.

but with that iso there is something more breaking it. is either Features -> Printing - Fax and Scan Services or Services -> Fax Service

after installing the updates from the last 2 weeks it gets stuck at 90% for 10-15 minutes and than just failes. since always both components are removed for me, even when Automatic Removing Process is set to off, i will just test both components together.

now windows update does work with an base iso which has no feature updates included, and also an fully updated iso

i tested it all with the 1100 components that my wccf file has set. so it still could be that something i dont remove breaks it, maybe i will do a test for this in the feature

it still a problem in v3.5.3 and can be solved like mentioned above
