CU kb4598242

I currently have windows 10 pro 19042.746 ISO.  I removed edge chromium, and edge legacy from windows 10 using winreducer ex-100.  I did a clean install of windows 10 pro after using winreducer.  Windows update downloads and installs CU kb4598242 and the feature enablement package,  which re-installs edge chromium again.  any help would be appreciated.

If i want to remove edge i use MSMG Toolkit. With this tool the update you mentioned does not get installed by windows update. If you don't want messing with other tools you can block the specific update only. Read the bellow article

I also remove Edge but it does not reinstall for me. I had KB4598242 integrated into the initial ISO before I used Winreducer. Windows then reinstalls it anyway, however I see no trace of Edge.

windows update, when you run normaly install all the software you have deleted.

You can install Tinywall Firewall to block updates and install updates manually.
I never install updates to Windows 10 and have no problems at all,
You just need  Net Frameworh 4.8 installed to run all programs
