[SOLVED] [EX-100-v2.3.8.0] [10.0.16299.2107 (rs3_release)] Windows Setup could not configure Windows [Bug]

Hi all,

i've try EX-100-2.2.8.0 (10 October 2019) and get result "Windows Setup could not configure Windows to run this computer's hardware" ?

here's my EX-100 preset:
 - File : WinReducerEX100_2019.10.20-0.34.24_v2.2.8.0.x86.wccf.7z
 - Size : 15.5 KiB
 - SHA1 : 6AE4B7211292BE8F271016897C752FA53A1A95C0

hi,
 
i've updated to 16299.15.x86fre.rs3_release.170928-1534 [2020-09 Cumulative Update (KB4577041)].
i'd already stripped down the size with v2.2.8.0, v2.3.0.0 and v2.3.8.0 but still get same issues,
can any one know how solve this ?
FYi : it work fine for Windows 10 Pro 20H1 v2004 Build 19041.1 (x64) with the same preset (.wccf) file ???

by the way Slimmingdown finally successfully using EX100 v2.1.4.0 (12 February 2019) [x86], but Still can't figured the source for this issues if used the latest EX100 or above than v2.1.4.0

i have re-tested without the unattended file and still not solved the issues [ONLY WORK with v2.1.4.0] ?

I also experienced the same thing, it's contradictory and confusing with Features and Services, so if it's not really needed just set as default

Had you resolved that? I had that issue, trying to do a wccf for windows 10 1607 with the same configure work with no problem with 1909, i think maybe was oobe, yoh know what components i need to kepp oobe working?
and can tou send that 400mb install esd file you have? Seems interesting.

No i haven't resolved it yet (see [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] it seems for windows 10 rs1/rs3 you must use an earlier version, i'm not expert maybe you should ask winterstorm2050 about oobe, sorry i can't because the purpose of the WinReducer Forum and Software is to help you create your own Windows Operating System by yourself, but you can try my latest working preset for windows 10 v1709_build_16299.2107.x86fre_rs3 : [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
