I get the following error message when trying to install Microsoft Office:

[SOLVED] [EX100 - v1.9.19.0] [Enterprise LTSB 2016] Office Installation fails Office10

I get this or a similar error with Office 2007, Office 2010, Office 2013 but not with Office 2016. The option "Protect MS Office" is selected. With a not winreduced ISO the installation of Office is possibble (of course). Here is my wccf:

Powershell is removed in my wccf:
 Element Category="Features" Name="Windows PowerShell" Selected="true" Value="3" /

Obviously you mean that I should try it with keeping powershell. I'll do so.

Yes, this was what I wanted to say : "without" (removing it) ... in other words : keep it Wink

Thank you for corrected it by your own Smile

Unfortunately I get the same error message even when keeping powershell. And - unfortunately - that seems to have nothing to do with Enterprise LTSB: The same with RS4  :-(

I found out what causes the trouble: Internet Explorer (Office support) breaks office installation.

SOLVED IN v1.9.19.1 [VIP] and v1.9.20.0 !

Hello guys,

I solved the "Internet Explorer (Office support)" missing component in the "Protect MS Office" preset in v1.9.19.1 [VIP] and v1.9.20.0 !

I'm investigating the Powershell and webdav bugs, this should be solved in v1.9.20.0 Smile

Thank you very much for your feedbacks !

Have a great day !

I've investigated by neither powershell or webdav removed components, result in a bug ... ms office is working great even with an extreme winreduced system ... with "Protect MS Office" preset activated.

I fixed webdav in this bug report : [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
