The following is something I have observed since reducing RS2 release already:
Having installed the reduced version of my Windows 10 distribution, Windows Defender was not running and it was not possible to restart it.
Also, most parts of version info of Windows Defender was not available ( see screen shots below ).
I was using the following *.wccf:

I was able to solve it though in running OS last time (RS2) as well as in RS3 now by doing the following:
Delete the following registry key :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows Defender\DisableAntispyware
Run the following command :
"%programfiles%\windows defender\MpCmdRun.exe" -wdenable
Now, I am not completely sure if that is caused by WinReducer, but I can confirm that this does not appear in the not modified version downloaded in MS VLSC.
So either it must be caused by my *.wccf or by a bug.
