WinReducer 8.1 - alpha

REQUIREMENTS :
- Windows 8.1 (x32 or x64)
- All languages supported
- A genuine Windows 8.1 (x32 or x64) ISO
- Works with Windows 8.1 Professional Preview
- No external software are provided in the zip package, you need to download them but feel free to have a look on the "Read Me.pdf"

INSTRUCTIONS :
- Not working with Windows 7, Windows 8 or any previous version like Windows XP
- Not working if you're using spaces in the path folder
- Follow instructions on screen : Button "Open", Button "Mount", wait, choose components, button "Apply", wait, then Button "Save" in Wim or in an ISO
- More important instructions are in the "Read Me.pdf" file provided in the zip package

WinReducer 8.1 will come in time but it will depend on the availability on Windows 8.1 RTM ISO ...  August or October 2013 ?

winreducer for 8.1 need pl do fast don't wait for RTM ... don't know but 8.1 eating so much Internet in background .. so i want to remove application  so pl fast

Yes, I've heard about that, but don't forget that this is not the RTM but a preview so Win8.1 will be improve by Microsoft, I hope !

OK, during the last days, I've worked on WinReducer 8.1 and you will be surprised by it, when it will be available (during September !).

This is a short list of the main new features :

- Completely New Design (better Windows 8.1 Integration)
- Support Language Translations
- Support Themes
- Highly Detailed Error Log
- Completely New Removing Engine (will be add in the future to improve speed !)


Remember this date : 24.08.2013, because there will be an event on the forum to show you what the new WinReducer 8.1 will look like !

Hi all, just to inform you that WinReducer 8.1 will have a much better look (it will support theme and translations) and a even better user experience than WinReducer 8... I will reveal it in just few more than 1 week ...

It seems that Microsoft will release Windows 8.1 during October so WinReducer 8.1 will be ready for it ...

There is a leaked build 9600(RTM) of Windows 8.1 so you can release it before if you want.

Jeez CodeMe do you need to strip down 8 to run on that computer? Even M.E. with Norton would run amazing on that machine!

I agree you've gotta jump the gun and develop using the leaked iso, ThumperDC x64 RTM has almost 5000 seeders and positive reviews. If not, nlite might steal your thunder because he's working on an 8.1 release.

From what I understand Yes.. There will be some testing going down sometime soon

Not sure if it's all of the forum; though I suspect it will be or just a few people.

winterstorm will be counting on us to report back the results & any bugs found or any improvements that could be done.

I guess now that the release of Windows 8.1 is near upon us, that the testing of WinReDucer 8.1 will also be starting some time soon also

Just make sure you visit the forum regular for all news & updates

the Release of WinReDucer 8.1 will be Around the 17 October 2013.
There will also be testing going on also. As you know it's up to us to report any Bugs. All will be revealed soon mate.

Make sure you stay in touch with the forum updates
