the problem only occurs with Options > System. other componments seems to work fine. i did not delete standard VC libs and i also tried installing redist VC packages; did not work

Try with Remover-Network-Geolocation not removed please.
It also breaks: Desktop -> rightclick -> resolution settings?

yes correct. i have to test another remake. atm i am getting BSOD errors with version 1.8.1.0

I confirm after a test that this error appears even if in an untouched iso you remove only network->geolocation.
It also breaks desktop right-click->display settings and possibly other things but i did not investigate further.
