Hi,

those components break the search function in exloprer. dont know if also for cortana because i removed it, too, but cortana is not causing it.

Accessories -> ELS (Extended Linguistic Services)
Accessories -> Spell Checking

i found some more bugs so i will test here later

Hello,

I tried with an RS1 ISO (Build: 14393.726) in "EX-100 - v1.0.0.0" but I'm not able to reproduce this.

I removed only those 2 components and it works, so far so good Wink

If you may try it again and let me know the result, that would be wonderful Smile

so from ELS the file

Windows\System32\MSWB7.dll

is needed.

so it seems removing ELS removes also nearly all Spell Checking files . so shouldnt removing Spell Checking also remove automatically ELS ?

so it seems for both components the file

Windows\System32\MSWB7.dll

is causing it. by keeping that file and removing both components the search in explorer is working again

I confirm with "Auto removing" : "ELS" is dependent to "Spell Checking", this is why it has been removed. In the other hand the reverse is not true.
