[ANSWERED] Very small win10 gaming OS

Hello,

I'm interested in seeing just how much I can delete from windows 10 without messing it up. I usually keep 2 partitions. One for my main OS (Windows 7 Pro) and one for gaming. I was using Win7 for gaming, but I'd like to utilize my windows 10 license if possible to see if it's faster and uses less resources. I'd need to be able to activate windows 10 and use the internet for updating my games (Mainly grand theft auto V), but all those crazy apps and telemetry stuff needs to be eliminated. I've tried to do this, but usually I mess up and remove something that I shouldn't causing win10 to become corrupt during the installation process. If possible I'd like to use startisback as well. Can someone help me out?

Have you activated "Presets - Protect Virtualbox" and "Presets - Protect VMware" ?

I've also heard that there are also some unsolved troubles with Microsoft Windows 10 and Virtualbox support.

i never got any problems with virtual box, even when i dont switch the preset to on.

i didnt try it with vw ware player

Yes, the preset is also here to keep all necessary drivers to use in virtualbox (like ethernet, ...)

I found the news source and the problem with virtualbox is with RS2 (build 15002) and not with RS1 (build 14393)

But for VMware, as far as I know by experience, if you do not activate the vmware protect preset, vmware machines will not start
