[SOLVED] [EX-100 - v0.9.13.0] [RS1 Build 14393.351] CMD character \ is shown wrong

i saw this since long ago but always forgot to mention it.

When removing the Font "Consolas", especially when removing ALL fonts with winreducer the comand line tool looks like this:




im not 100 percent sure but it could be that even cmd/batch files and comands do fail because of that

so i would say this font should be protected by the important files preset

I also reproduced exactly the same issue, it seems to be a cosmetic error because the character "\" is replaced by another character due to the Windows automatic font selection, but there is no incidence in the removing process (tested).

Just for the record, I never remove this font in my wccf

True. Useful font when you use CMD, PowerShell, etc.
Maybe should be added to: Presets / Protect Important Files?

this "bug" was also causing this wrong character in the tool WinMerge. So other tools could also be effected

Here is the reason : if you remove all fonts, Windows command window will select automatically the next available font, and this was "MS Gothic" with v0.9.13.0 and previous versions. And the bug only appeared if "MS Gothic" font is selected, maybe a "MS Gothic" font bug with Windows 10.

So to bypass this, I added in v0.9.14.0 a new component named "Fonts - MS Gothic" to remove it

ok now i can remove ALL fonts, MS Gothic and Consolas and the CMD window looks normal

WInMerge looks ok now, too
