[SOLVED] Error 0x800713712 in Windows Update

Base ISO is MSDN Enterprise x64. Receive 0x800713712 error during Windows Update.

I've updated the WCCF link to pastebin. You should be able to access it.

I have the same error. It is a this update: Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3156421)
I'm also hunting this "bug", I probably just try run process without removing any component to see if that would work.

OK, I created build only with "Protect important files, Protect window update & Protect windows search" and Optimisations like in my last wccf. It worked, error gone.

Now I will be searching for component(s) that is causing issue by gradually enabling components from original wccf.

In my opinion, KB3156421 is a Cumulative Update which may update almost every system files in Windows 10. Having said that, I suspect that if one system file to be updated by KB3156421 is removed by WinReducer, we cannot install KB3156421 at all.

Sigh, that is one disadvantage of having such cumulative update for Windows 10, as compared to individual updates for Windows 8.1 and earlier. It really prevents us from using the awesome WinReducer, to slim Windows ISO.

I am hoping for winterstorm2050 and other experts to solve this matter.

I think afk is on the point. I've done like dozen of builds in last couple of days. I can confirm, that it is safe:
- remove IR in Control panel
- remove some big asian fonts
- remove keyboards
- tweaks
- unattended
- optimisations
Other things triggers the error. Since this is very time consuming I didn't tested everything, so some other things may be safe too.

Anyway, if you integrate that sucker during process, you will get fine build. However any future cumulative update will fail eventually (next big CU should arrive in mid summer).

Note on Winterstorm's recommendation - I wasn't removing features (thats where PDF printing live) at all, I was fiddling only with remover.
