[ANSWERED] Problem with EX-100 v0.5.x.x Using Logitech/Portable Apps

Just wondering if anyone have any ideas why with Ex-100 v0.5.x.x my logitech MX510 mouse looses it functions (it still can right/left click but not anything else) with some portable apps but it's works perfectly fine with any other older versions (EX-100 v.4.x.x and older)?

the mouse is working but it looses it's 6 extra button functions, only the basic left/right and scroll works.

i used such a mouse some years ago. dont you need to install the logitec suite to get those buttons to work (or even progarm them) ?

or do all those buttons work when you install an untouched iso?

-I do need to install the logitech setpoint suite to program the specific buttons or it will just be function as default, which I have no use for.

- yes it does work and like I said it works perfectly with Ex-100 v0.4.3.0 and older builds.

-no I didn't remove any USB drivers

and all the buttons works fine with everything else except for most of the portable apps that I use, for example... ccleaner, defraggler, firefox, etc

Neither my wireless mouse and keyboard not work.
It happens since when the drivers were divided into two parts (Boot & Install)
Now I do not know which drivers have to put in the file DRIVERS \ x64 \ Boot ...

Have you removed "Drivers - USB Hub (EHCI, UHCI, OHCI)" or "Drivers - USB Hub (xHCI)" ?

drivers from boot are integrated into the boot.wim. The boot.wim is used when installing your windows (first setup screen etc). After the first restart the install.wim is used (was extracted before "expanding files" etc).

so put files for usb3, mouse/keyboard and maybe chipset drivers to boot, and ALL your drivers (also usb3, keyboard/mouse, chipset, graphic etc) to install so they will be present at your installed OS

After many tests ... I have no result, worse, I have no mouse before installing.
I put the last wccf with modified only to drivers, as KRX said... I do not know ?!

i got here a logitech g500, i will try it with your wccf file when im done with the other bugs.

I've  made anoter test. I put the wrong drivers in boot... Do not rush to test

Which should I put in Boot ?

the logitech, Optical Mouse and eltron driver for your mouse
the other for chipset and hdd etc

I did not remove any USB drivers, the crazy thing is, is that all the buttons works fine with everything else except for most but not all of my Portable Apps, why would it only affect those portable apps?

which portable apps are this? if integrating those drivers does not work and i will start some tests it would be good to know which apps does not work

I will run some test and have a list of ones that dos and don'ts.

actually it's not just the portable apps that's affected but regular install programs too.

I tried with other backup software drivers, it did not work. I'll try another time.
   Everything is ok, only when Windows is already installed. I must put another mouse, until install this driver: Intel(R) Chipset Device Software, manual.

so only this one drive isnt integrated correctly and you need to install it afterwards? did you try switching the "Unsigned Driver Support" to ON ?

i already made an iso out of your wccf file and installed in on a VM. i will try test it now with my g500. hopefully that will work, if not i need to test it on one of my notebooks

In a VM always work...

Before (split driver file) I put all files in the Drivers and always worked

i tried it and it worked for me.

i tried it with normal windows operations. i prorgramed "move, cut, copy, insert, back, forward" and everthing worked . they also workes "back forward" at firefox portable

so do they work for you? or which comands do you use? and i didnt even need to install any drivers seperately. i only installed the logitech suite

the only 2 things i could think of is the iso. i use a th2 build 10586 with updates till december.
or the other thing is the registry file you insert with winreducer:

EDIT: the iso was made with 0.5.5

The same Windows... Now try without Registry Integrator. Thank you!

thanks for trying it out KrX but it's still not working for me, I use EX-100 0.5.5, th2 build 10586 Pro, update to today, installed Logitech SetPoint6.67.83_x64, my commands are "close, enter, delete, control w, control t, back"

I did another test with new Windows, Net Framework enabled, I added the latest updates.
Preset whit all stuff  + Registry Integrator, without autounattend.xml, and it works...

Now I have work! I will do tests to see what could be the problem.

so all thinks/steps where the same and now it works? with new windows, do you mean a new iso?
