Hey Winter!

I think it would be a great idea to add an 'cancel' button to the window while winreducer is actually reducing the stuff. This would give us the opportunity to stop the reduction if you have forgotten a setting or like to change something. Also if you have to shutdown your PC for some reason it would be really helpfull not to wait until winreducer has finished!

If you then click on the button the program could ask you if you want to keep the image mounted (e.g. to change some of your settings), or if you would like to discard the mounted volume (to leave the program without finishing the reduction process).

All the best and keep up the great work,
Markus

hi,

you can cancel the process is you click on the X of the window. after that winreducer will discard and close itself.

i dont think its an good idea to ask if you want to keep the mounted image, because i.e. you you select Internet explorer to remove and you cancel the process during the reducing (deletion) of IE and you want to keep IE, there are some files already removed.

Thanks KrX! You are right, that you could close the window - i must have overseen that!

But I believe that the possibility to keep te image mounted would be a good idea, atleast sometimes - imagine that you have started the process of reduction and then suddenly remember that you have forgotten one or two components to remove or you missed to add the driver, then it would save quite some time if the image you are working on could stay mounted.

On the other hand like you said, if you want to keep one component that you have already removed this function would be less usefull.

Best regards,
Markus
