msconfig looks the same to me as always on 10, so where's the difference to the one used in 8?

not to 8, to 7

back in Windows 10 and Windows 8

you can see in the first post 2 Pictures. The first which is normal for 8 and 10->  at Startup tab you dont see anything.

at Picture 2 you can see at Startup tab the different programs that start with Windows if you replace the msconfig.exe at Windows 8 - 10

Thanks. I overlooked that. Never clicked that far ever since using Autoruns as replacement
