It's not possible to install .NET 4.0 manually. I get the following error:

"Der Komponentenspeicher wurde beschädigt" means: WinSxS is corrupted.

I used WinSxS cleanup, here is my wccf:

It's possible to install .NET 4.5 manually and .NET 4.5.2 with Windows Update, so it's not really a problem for me now. But maybe this bug could cause other problems, so it could be good to have a look on it.

i use Serebys All in one installer and the installation of net framework 4.5 works without problems.
i also use the WinSxs cleanup

Serebys AiO Runtimes for Win7 installs .NET 4.5.2 which I also can install "manually" without any problem. Only the older 4.0 (which no one needs, I know) causes the problem. I discovered it because an other software tried to install 4.0. For this reason it would be nice if also this would work. And because the reason could cause other problems. But it has less priority.

it could be that there are some other installers

so you reduce windows, install it and try to install net framework 4 ? or do you install someting more?

O.K., the story is as follows:

I tried to install an old version of FritzboxUSBFernanschluß I had on my HDD. It failed while it tried to install the DotNet Framework. Because I wasn't shure what causes the problem I tried to install the Dotnet Framework 4.0 "manually" from an installer I had on my HDD. That must be the same as in the link above. The installation failed. I forgot if this error message is from the Fritzbox-Installer or from the MS-Dotnet-Installer.

And yes, I installed some software before that: Drivers and replacement for componts I removed with Winreducer, like IrfanView, Iron-Browser, MPC-HC. I don't think that this damaged the WinSxS.

ok, i will try to create a winreduced system with your wccf file and after installing it i will try the net framework 4 from your link

if an error happens i will try to find whats causing it

and i copyed all files from windows/winsxs/manifest

back and it worked

i couldnt seperate the files from the manifest folder because i got each time the error

i uploaded here the CBS.log when it fails (if anyone interested)

Unfortunately I can't confirm this.

I copied the x86*-files (not the amd64*-files, because I use Win7x86) back to winxsx/manifests. I tried it in two ways: First in an allready installed system and second into the install.wim before install. In both cases I get the same error massage as before:

(and in this folder there are the files.)

i copyed the whole Manifest folder back (because i couldnt get exactly which files are needed thats why i put all manifest files backO´)

I copied the folders AND the *.manifest-files with the same name from the Maifests-Folder, but it's not working.

It seems that there are more files from the Manifests-folder needed. You copied all but they are really many ...

i tried that at first to to only copy the manifestfiles with the same name back.

i also copied all manifest files for net framework (netfx**, netframework** etc) back and it didnt work.

thats why i copied ALL manifest files back and it worked... but that will get the wim 120mb + bigger

Hmmm, for me it's against the idea of Winreducer to have unneeded files on the HDD. For sure not all manifest-files are needed. But it seems that there ist no realistic way to find out which manifest-files are needed, so I prefer to leave this undone and to use Dotnet4.5.x.
