Does anyone know a way of programmatically setting default applications?

I.e. I want to install an application which handles .pdf files and then make sure that when a .pdf is double-clicked that the application is opened without any questions of which application should open it.

If we could specify application paths for file types using WR, that would be pretty cool. This isn't a small feature however so I won't be surprised if you put it very far down on the ToDo list Smile

Hey,

Yes, I made many tests around this idea ... Wink

And I always testing improvements with my windows installations ... so yes this is in my ToDo list !

And there are 3 possibilities that could be used in WinReducer :
- Add a software in the "Open with" list from the right click file context menu
- Add a software to open directly a file
- Add the 2 previous ideas at the same time

This will be added soon .. Wink ... oh hey, by the way, thank you for the reminder !
