4. Create a Windows Update Shortcut


  1. Right click or press and hold on an empty area on your desktop, and click/tap on New and Shortcut
  2. Copy and paste the location below into the location area, and click/tap on Next
  3. Type Windows Update for the name, and click/tap on the Finish button

slmgr.vbs -ipk PBHCJ-Q2NYD-2PX34-T2TD6-233PK -> Reboot computer

7. Fix Windows 10 upgrade error 0x80246017/Delete Windows.old folder in Windows 10
command prompt -> rundll32.exe pnpclean.dll,RunDLL_PnpClean /DRIVERS /MAXCLEAN

Win + R -> cleanmgr -> Run as administrator -> Previous Windows installation(s) option -> OK button -> ready -> now reboot and try to upgrade your Windows 10.

In case of manual deletion, you will have to resolve those access rights by yourself, otherwise you will not be able to delete the C:\Windows.old folder.
