Integrating updates into an iso is nice, but if you want to boot your custom installation from a USB, and your installer has files bigger than 4GB, than you can't boot on UEFI.  From what I gathered and experienced, it requires FAT32 formatting.

Was wondering if you could implement some sort of split wim file workaround, so that we can still utilize FAT32 on installations greater than 4GB.

Cheers

use exFAT format instead of FAT32

you can use winreducer to split your install.wim into .swm files

i.e.

start winreducer goto HOME-> Tools -> ISO -> SAVE IN WIM FILE -> and type in split size the size of each file

From what I have read UEFI systems do not support booting from usb with NTFS or exFat file system.
